Kevlar reinforce Carbon Fiber fuel tank for the Ducati 748 to 998. This tank weighs 4lbs 10oz compared to the stock tank which weighs 9lbs 8oz. That's about half the weight of the OEM tank! Our carbon fiber racing fuel tank utilizes the OEM fuel pump and retains the keyed ignition along with the factory mounting points. It uses a RS fuel cap and has a fuel tank vent like the RS fuel tank. Using the most proven production methods, this tank is made with epoxy resins and is ethanol safe. We do recommend having the tank GTL coated for added longevity and piece of mind. This tank is handcrafted in Italy from a Ducati Performance mold. In essence, this is a 916 Racing fuel tank with the ignition provision. Consider it a hybrid of an RS fuel tank and an OEM tank in all carbon fiber.
